The Sensbury Hotel
The Sensbury Hotel came to life in 2012 after several years of dreaming, planning, and negotiating by , owners of the Sensbury Hotel. Both having a strong belief in sustainability, the consumer’s impact on the environment and a passion for travel, the two began planning for what was soon to become the Sensbury Hotel. The hotel opened in January 2012 to solid reviews and continued sustained performance, leading to success in the hotel’s first year.
Mission Statement:
Our mission at the Sensbury Hotel is to create a sustainable, luxurious experience for our guests while being kind to the Earth and our environment. We pride ourselves upon the use of environmentally friendly products and local materials. Our goal is to provide superior guest service to create an end to end experience, rather than just a hotel stay. Our guests expect the best and we at the Sensbury Hotel will stop at nothing less.
Industry Analysis:
Our group is attempting to create a hotel that is as green as possible. This would be possible with geothermal heating, wind and solar energy as well as products that are recycled, environmentally healthy and biodegradable. Although this would create a higher overhead expense, the purpose behind this would be worth the expense.
