The ball mill has been widely used metal mine and nonmetal ore dressing plant, metallurgy, building materials, chemical and electric power department and other basic industries since 1893.Ball mills are also used in pyrotechnics and the manufacture of black powder, but cannot be used in the preparation of some pyrotechnic mixtures such as flash powder because of their sensitivity to impact.

Agrinding mill is a unit operation designed to break solid materials into smaller pieces. There are many types of grinding mill, such as ball mill, Raymond mill, MTM trapezium grinding machine, high pressure suspension grinding mill and so on. As an ideal grinding mill for secondary crushing, ball mill is an efficientpulverizer machine for fine powder grinding. Ball Mill are widely used in many fields. This durable ball mill can grind many kinds of mine and other materials, such as the cement, the silicate product, new type building material, fire-proof material, chemical fertilizer, black and non-ferrous metal, glass, ceramics and etc.

In consideration that it has been long time since it had been widely applied in ore crushing. After such a long time it is still widely used in the industrial and was not eliminated, the fact of which proves that the working principle of ball mill from structure to fundamental working principle is reliable and reasonable and its performance is relatively good, of course it is flawed.
