To begin with, there was factual evidence to point the finger at Robert Kennedy. Marilyn Monroe and Robert Kennedy were having an affair. He thought she was getting attached to their relationship, so he had her killed so that she wouldn't mess up his career. His brother in-law tried to prevent her go forward with her plans to reveal the information. So, they increased the pills she was addicted to. On the way to the hospital Marilyn Monroe died. They then took her back to her house and staged it as suicide.
Almost everyone was convinced it was suicide. That is because there were pills around her at the crime scene. It was confirmed by Dr. Noguchi that there was no trace of pills in her stomach. Therefore, she did not commit suicide. So, if she did not commit suicide and died it was not of natural causes so that leaves murder.
In conclusion, Marilyn Monroe was killed. Even though it is believed that she committed suicide. Factual evidence shows that is not true. At this point who can you blame other than Robert Kennedy. He wanted to protect his career and the only way to do that was to kill Marilyn
