The ingredients found in peanut butter are roasted peanuts, oil, honey, molasses, and sugar. George was born into slavery to his master Moses Carver when he purchased him, his sister, and his parents, Mary and Giles. Eventually when slavery was abolished Mose Carver started to raise him as his own son. George started to go into education at a fast rate and went to an abundance of schools before finally earning a diploma at Minneapolis High School. Carver started first in the agricultural business when he was offered to head the agricultural department at Tuskegee Institute by Booker T. Washington in 1896. After teaching there for 47 years he had turned that department into a strong department working with two other colleges teaching different methods on how to improve soil quality in areas that are heavily cultivated in cotton.
