This is exciting because it will hopeful be a strong enough and solid government but prevent us from tyranny. Did you know that the constitution was made in Philadelphia,1878. The Constitution was made for a stronger government because the Articles of Confederations weren’t strong enough. They didn’t make it strong enough to make a new king. Some things that the federal government can do that the states can’t are declare war and print paper and coin money. If all the states could declare war then the whole united states would be very crazy and catioc because all the states would declare war on other states for bad reasons. Another reason why we can’t let the states to declare war is because then one state may try to get more power and then that would tranny. Another power that the federal government has is to print and make money. If the states had that power then each state would have their own kind of money and each states you would go in you would have to get new type money for that state. Some powers that the states have that the federal government don’t have is establish schools and set up local government. If the federal government had the power then we would have all the same school and the people who have different needs don’t get the help they need. Federalism protects against tyranny because it doesn’t give the states or the federal government to much power. An example for some of the shared powers between the states and the government are tax and making
