How Did The Industrial Revolution Change America

During the Industrial revolution many things happened, from new inventions to the people who helped our society advanced as a whole, but we may forget some of the younger people who helped make this all possible. Although they helped this country advance, it was a painful journey. America took part in child labor, The children had to put their future at stake so they could support their family. Although a very noble cause it would hurt not only their future but the future of america.
Child labor may not seem like much but it changed how america looked at the youth of the country and way america worked by adding the labor laws and gave the children an equal chance to make something for themselves.

Unlike modern children the children, in the industrial revolution spent there childhood in factories. Children as young as four years old worked long hours with very little pay to show for it.The adults worked for more money than the youth because they were younger and didn't expect to be paid at such a high price because a large amount of the factories where made up of children. Usually over 50% of the businesses were made up of children, But there was more jobs than in jus factories. But it was all built on human labor and the blood of children. Children as young as 4 years old went to work and were expected to work with the maturity of adults. These children sacrificed their childhood for a few dollars a week. But the country pulled together eventually and we united the country again. America has always been a country where we always come together by the end and i think this shows that even now when our country separates overviews and politics we will come together again. Even though something was built off of a wrong it's never to late or to bad to fix
