The Nile was the source where ancient Egypt got most of their supplies and they revolved around the Nile in everyday life. Since The Ancient Egyptians praised the Nile it became a god that they celebrated regularly with the original gods such as Ra the god of sun. Egypt relied on the Nile regularly in everyday life it grew to be their most praised god and they rewarded it if they had a good year but blamed it if they had a bad infertile year. Peasants were the farmers and the lowest on the social pyramid. They relied on the Nile the most because they needed it to grow their crops and water their land. Ninety five percent of Ancient Egypt where farmers and they relied on it for everything they did. It was the reason why they had seasons which all came with different jobs and tasks. There was the Aket season where it flooded and watered the soil, then the Peret season the Peasants planted all their crops, and finally the Shemu season where they harvested all their crops.
