The Pandemic brought an end to the ideal American Dream. America is a land of opportunity. It has been this way since the first colonists arrived. People wanted to strike rich and own land. The ideal American dream was to have a well-paid job and own a house with a white picket fence. The American dream allowed people to work hard to chase this dream. You can go to public school for free, pay your way through college and have doors of opportunities open up for you. It was a one-way path. The Pandemic brought an end to the ideal American Dream. Then, each country came up with its own isolation rules. It ranges from 10-14 days. And, some would not let you board unless you had a negative covid test. We all feared the unknown and sort of blamed the others for the virus. It was a race to create a vaccine to cure covid. The pandemic brought a halt to a lot of businesses. People suffered because they could not work or if they worked they had to mask and take safety precautions. These measures make people feel uncomfortable and become biased against each other. Travel agencies and Airbnbs shutdown, the interest rate ballooned, and people just became poorer and poorer. The fast food and restaurant industries suffered because business got real slow as people worked from home. Downtown became dangerous for people to walk and work because the hooligans took over. The pandemic killed a lot of people. People did not know how to deal with and react to this crisis. Long lines at the emergency rooms, spread of the virus, no medication all contributed to extra deaths. Nurses and doctors were overworked and many good professionals quit their jobs because it became overwhelming witnessing all of these
