World War II brought about the creation of several technologies, they changed the way Americans lived at that time and still do to this day. Some of those innovations helped change the course of the war for the better, among them the one that stands out the most is the penicillin. It was discovered by the scientist Alexander Fleming in 1928, however it took almost a decade before the widespread manufacturing of the drug.
