These citations are commonly referred to as “traffic tickets”. Depending on the violation, it is mandatory offenders appear in court. Failing to move over one lane while an officer has someone pulled over alongside the road is a perfect example. There will be a set price in which the offender will pay on their ticket(s). However, every offender cannot handle their ticket cost as well as their court fees.

Whether it be their working or no transportation. In Georgia, failing to appear in court will lead to the judge putting out a warrant for defendant’s arrest. After this takes place, the violator must sit in jail until there is a rescheduled court date. Suspension of their driver’s license is a result of unpaid court fees or being absence in court.
