Anthony Ianni, the first Division 1 basketball player with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), has overcome many obstacles in his life. These obstacles are overcoming the noises at basketball games, bright lights, and getting bullied. At the age of 4, Anthony was diagnosed with autism. The doctor said that he would never succeed in school or sports but he didn't believe that. Anthony grew to be 6 feet tall in sixth grade! Even though Anthony was so good at basketball he was still troubled; kids would still bully him because of his autism.
