In the story “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien, the theme of taking a risk for self growth while possessing bravery is a concept Biblo exhibits by saving the company from spiders in Mirkwood, breaking the dwarfs out of the Elvenking Halls, and confronting Smaug with nothing more than his ring. Initially, Biblo can be first observed attaining his climax of heroism as he takes the risk of defeating many giant spiders to protect the company.
