The author Junot Diaz of “The Terror” conveys courage through the narrator, who also happens to be him. If people have courage, and the ability to take risks, they can discover all life has to offer. Junot is a colored boy in a city full of white people. He is greatly discriminated against. On top of that, his father left the family and his brother was diagnosed with leukemia. So he has had a very difficult life. Throughout the story, Junot experiences massive amounts of fear and agony, but at the end, he learns to overcome it. Which is not an easy task.
