The Jurisdiction and System of Juvenile Justice: How Does It Work? Having a difficult time understanding the juvenile justice system and its jurisdiction over juveniles as a parent, guardian, or just for fun? Having a child in the juvenile system can be a long, hard, and confusing process. Many parents and guardians do not fully grasp what is happening in court because of the vocabulary or other factors. The process can be long, confusing, and overwhelming. On top of this, parents and guardians are already feeling stressed or upset …show more content…
