The frequent use of technology has caused many families to grow apart. Many children and young adults are more concerned about updating their social media accounts than spending quality time with their families. What used to be family game night has now turned into alone time in one's room. Family time spent together is especially important for people of older age. The older generation did not grow up with a portable cell phone in their hand. All they had was quality time with friends and family. Workers used to be extremely serious about their job and did not let anything distract them. However, now almost every business you go in, you see a worker on their phone. Most jobs require a worker to put away their phone. Yet, many still are still using them quite frequently.
