Is Maus a good comic? I think so. Maus’ illustrations are very skilled and convey Vladek’s story very well. Maus is the only graphic novel to win the Pulitzer Prize, therefore it must be a quite fantastic comic. The point of view throughout Maus is amazing, it shows Vladek, Anja, and all the characters’ everyday lives; and it is truly amazing. I liked Maus more than Anne Frank, even though Anne’s diary told such a good story. Maus helps you picture what is going on, as if it was you in those circumstances.
Also, something Art said in the prompt quote, “But in the hands of someone who knows how to use their medium, great things can happen. Good comics make an impression that last a lifetime.” The story that Vladek and Art tell in Maus definitely
