In the book Animal Farm the animals are very different compared to the ones in today's society, but also very alike. Just like today's animals many of them are mistreated, abused, not given the correct care and so on. In 1787 when the United States constitution was written it was meant to give equality to all men and women, but left animals out. In today's world animals have few if any rights, but there are laws in place to help protect them from man. Not all people see animals as important or equal to humans, but one thing is for sure they can feel emotions just like us such as happiness, pain, excitement, and etc. If animals can feel emotions and act in a manner almost as humans do then they must be entitled to some rights some might think. …show more content…
