Rikki Tikki is a brave character in this story. Rikki was to nervous to fight Nag but he went for it and killed Nag. (pg. 9-10) Rikki was nervous but that doesn’t mean give up… you should never give up. Rikki-Tikki was kind of afraid to fight Nag, Nag is a tall snake. When the snake tried striking at Rikki, Rikki always moved. Rikki was a young mongoose and Nag was older then Rikki-Tikki, so this shows that Rikki never gave up and just went for it, he won the fight though. Nagaina only cares for her eggs and only cares for her stuff.(pg. 8-9) This demonstrates the character traits by her saying she only cares for her stuff and nobody else’s stuff. This is different from Rikki's character trait because Rikki is a brave and nice character. Nagaina is not a nice character. Some evidence from Nagaina’s character traits is that she doesn’t care for anymore, only for her eggs.(pg. 8-9) This demonstrates the character trait by realizing how brave he was because he fought Nag and beat a 5 foot snake. This character trait is way different because Nagaina isn’t overcoming her fears, Rikki is. In the story, Nagaina is an evil character.
