Jackie Robinson faced many challenges to achieve his goals. One of his goals was to make it to the Brooklyn Dodgers, which was hard to do because of racism and discrimination. In the article, “How Jackie Robinson Changed Baseball”, it states “Robinson promised that he could, and signed a contract with the Montreal Royals, the Dodgers’ top minor league team. After just one season, he transferred to the Brooklyn Dodgers.” This proves after hard work, he achieved his goal to play with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
