According to what we learned, during the late 1000's, a crusade was formed to reclaim the holy land of the Christians from the Muslims. Despite success, the Turks recaptured it, and the following attempts were unsuccessful. Though the initial intention was not fulfilled, the crusades were a “successful failure” to the extent that there were many consequences and negative actions acted upon that also resulted in unintentional positive effects. The actions of many men in the crusades negatively impacted the social, religious, and political aspects. In addition, the crusades failed their initial goal to claim back the holy land.
