Mousetrap car is a small vehicle whose only source of motive power is a mousetrap.My first time to build a mousetrap car I was tensed and scared, and I did not know more about mousetrap car.It was challenging because we got to know more about physics of this project The friction that affected the performance of my vehicle was static friction when the car is still and rolling friction when the car is moving. Problems that I encountered was potential energy, and I solved it by putting a thinner string around a lever extender to the mousetrap.I used CDCs in each axle.The effect of using larger wheels is that they travel in larger circumference, and greater force to complete rotation while smaller wheels need less force to complete rotation.
