Have race relations improved from the 1960s in the USA? It is clear that racial and cultural relations in America have progressed positively because of less segregation, and due to statistics, many Americans are proven to agree that racial and cultural relations has gotten better. In this essay, cultural and racial relations will be discussed and how they have changed since the 1960s in America. One reason why racial and cultural relations have improved is because there is less segregation than what it was in the 1960s. This evidence shows that most Americans are statistically proven to think that race relations have gotten better perhaps due to less segregation. Additionally, it was proved in a class of diverse cultures that, “88% of the class believed that race relations have gotten better since the 1906s." This piece of evidence is important because the class has many cultures in it from different countries and cultures yet they still agreed that race relations have progressed positively. Hence, many Americans are proven to agree that racial and cultural relations have progressed positively in spite of the difference of their cultures. On the other hand, some Americans still continue to disagree on the progression of racial relations of America. There might still be some discriminations but it has decreased gradually over the years.
