The idea to repeal The Second Amendment should be reconsidered and instead more gun laws should be created, restricting the ability to harm and endanger the lives of others when purchasing or being in ownership of a gun. The enforcement of stricter gun laws can potentially save lives when it comes to who may acquire a weapon and when they can or cannot be used. The second amendment’s interpretation has evolved along side with current day situations leading to believe that its not outdated as long as regulations are made accordingly. The ban of guns isn’t a forsure sign that gun violence will come to a halt, especially if guns are already in circulation around the U.S. If the repeal of the second amendment takes places or is followed through upon and guns are not allowed for citizens to use then the thought of safety is compromised. The ever so adapting role of firearms has then changed since that of the such times as those. There may not be distant countries coming to attack us here in our homes but they have been in a way replaced with gangs and criminals. With certain cities having an abundance of gang establishment there is an increased fear for those around them. With gangs being recognized to deal in small arms and weaponry along with other illegal activities it can show that some form of protection is needed besides the current small force of police that an area may pertain to. After all, the police can’t be at all places to protect every single individual. An individuals own security is the duty of that same person, every second counts when protection is being risked, especially if the police arrive in
