Throughout time, there's always been some of kind of bully that torments people that they think are weak. Archie is a prime example of a social tyrant that uses psychological warfare to permanently scar the people that he bullies. Archie uses his power to lead The Vigils, back Brother Leon, and too makes Jerry's life a living hell.

Archie is known as The Assigner. His job is to come up with various tasks students must complete. However, these tasks usually inflict psychological damage to students that perform the tasks. These tasks that are given by Archie make the student body fear The Vigils, even though Archie isn't at the top of the totem pole. Carter, who is the President of The Vigils, is only one of Archie's puppets that he uses as a mean to get his point across. Archie uses his authority to guarantee that The Vigils will back Brother Leon during the upcoming chocolate sale.

Before the chocolate sale starts, Brother Leon confronts Archie to try to get The Vigils to back him in the upcoming chocolate sale. Usually, Trinity sells around ten thousand boxes of chocolate. However, Brother Leon used money that he took from Trinity to buy an extra ten thousand boxes so he can look like a genius and become headmaster if the chocolates sell. Archie doesn't expect Jerry to refuse the chocolates after the assignment, so Archie plans to make Jerry's life a living hell. The Vigils start harassing Jerry by trashing his locker, stealing his assignments and purposely blind sidng him at practice. As the refusal goes on, the torture becomes more violent and psychologically harmful. Archie has Emile Janza call Jerry a fairy and also to beat him up. Archie finally takes it the next level by organizing the raffle. At the raffle, Emile almost kills Jerry, which makes him finally conform to Trinity and go against
