I then moved all my belongings to Tinker AFB since my husband was stationed there. Two weeks after moving to Tinker I received a phone call that I had been accepted and classes would start in August. I moved back to Kansas to attend WATC. Dental assisting school was easy since I had prior experience with Dr. Resch’s office. I maintained a 3.93 GPA at WATC for the duration of Dental Assisting school.
After graduating from WATC, I moved back to Oklahoma and found out that it would be a process to transfer all my dental certifications than was initially thought. I had to call the dental board every day for three months due to them verifying all course syllabus’ and exams from the school I attended along with coursework to make sure it fell within the scope of what their requirements were. It helped that I took the Dental Assistants National Board (DANB) and became a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) prior to moving to
