I think this book was really good, it’s not a book I would usually read because I read fiction books most of the time, but I liked this book, I wouldn’t recommend this to everyone because it’s a longer and more tedious and difficult book, so it’s not for everyone. But if you’re up to the challenge it’s a great book.
This book is about AMir and his best friend Hassan who is also his hare-lipped servant, who encounter a boy named ASsef who leads a group of bullies, and he desperately wants revenge on Amir. Amir’s father throws a large party for Hassan’s birthday and assef shows up, soon after Amir sets up Hassan to make him look like he stole from Amir which lead to Hassan and Hassan’s father to leave their home, Amir knows what he’s doing is wrong but does it anyways. One day, a few years later Amir gets a call from his father’s old friend in Pakistan, Rahim who is sick and dying, so Amir goes and visits him in Pakistan, when he’s there Rahim tells him that he’s dying and that Hassan and his wife were both executed by the taliban and learns that Hassan was actually his half brother.
