How do words relate to wisdom?
The novel Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse touches multiple times on this topic; How do words relate to wisdom? In the author's opinion, he seemed to illustrate that words are not necessarily the best way to communicate wisdom. Throughout his early life, Siddhartha struggled with attaining his level of enlightenment he desired. No amount of hymns, prayers, rituals, and etc., made him feel like he was at peace. So he left to join a group of Ascetics in the woods, to learn to release his bodily wishes. However, no amount of wisdom by these Samana ascetics could satisfy him, so he continued his journey. He only began to feel fulfilled after his arrival at the river of Vasudeva. What was different
