I needed a new target and I needed one soon. Johnny Smith was a perfect victim for my acts. Johnny is a 15-year-old ninth grader that goes to St. John’s High school. He is from a semi-religious family that goes to church on Sunday, prays occasionally and lives a decently moral based life. His faith in The Lord is not as strong as it used to be; although he participates in the religious acts with his parents, he hasn’t personally been keeping his faith strong. Lately, Johnny has been feeling like he is unnoticed at school. He has 1 close friend that he truly trusts. No one really pays attention to him and he wants to get in with the “cool kids”. Luckily for me, he listened and lied like a dog. Not so luckily for him, the security guard showed the camera footage of him and Jared taking the hats without paying.
Their parents were contacted and got them a little later. At this point, Johnny is feeling discouraged which is my fourth evil tactic. At home, Johnny was confronted by his parents for all the foolishness that he’s been doing recently. For what seems like the last time I go back into his head and speak my conniving thoughts.
