My first reaction to the results was a feeling of surprise because I did not expect the test to match up so well with my current beliefs on what I am interested in. Two out of the Three letters in my theme code went along with my current interest and one letter did not. My theme code is CER. Starting with conventional I did not think this matched with my interest well, however I can relate to a few of the description words including organizing, managing, and investing. My second triad was enterprising. This directly correlates with what I see myself doing in the future because I love business and entrepreneurship. My last trait was realistic. I believe this goes along with my personality the most out of the three traits. This is because I love doing things with my hands in the real world rather than analyzing data or working on a computer. Of my top five interest areas, the one that represents my interest the most would be management. This is because I can see myself being in a management position in the future and I would like to own my own business. These occupations sound the most appealing to me because they are hands on and would be entertaining to participate in. Careers that I would look into would include landscape/grounds manager, and facilities manager because they are both a position where hands on activity would take place but also a position of leadership and responsibility, both of which interest me. The career that surprised me the most was an optician. This is not because I think this would be a bad career but because I have never considered working with eyes as a career or known anyone who is in this field.
