1.1 Explain how own values, belief systems and experiences can affect work practice, either in a positive or a negative manner. All values, belief systems and experiences can have a positive or negative effect. Such as communication, this can be good, which means it is being used effectively and helps support us to be able to do our job. This means when the communication is good, and information is shared correctly, this can help us with the support of our teams and individuals. Poor communication, this can be negative in a way that information is not shared effectively, and this impacts our jobs. Not having the correct information and not being able to support individuals and staff teams. Having respect, empathy, openness and honesty is important to being a positive role model. Recognising own faults and being able to adjust where needed.

In team meetings and supervisions, I ensure I set actions and outcomes that are in line with the service and its needs, this also reflects on the vision of the company and ensuring all individuals are supported with the best quality of care, ensuring the staff are on training they require and training they would like where possible. Ensuring to lead by example, this helps the team understand their roles and the quality of support expected. In my company we have individual forums, these are used by individuals to ensure they are accessing all the right care and support, this is held monthly and is an opportunity for individuals to discuss ideas in regard to their
