There are several outlets who deal with gatehring infromation and combating human trafficking those entities are Non governmental organizations (NGO’s), the United Nations and law enforcement. Due to the complexity of this crime operation, it is best to select a country and examine it from various angles. One example of a continent that is struggling with human trafficking is Africa. There are many reason to why this continent is a breeding ground for traffickers, extreme poverty, poorly controlled governments, wars, highly profitable resources as well as a lack of them and citizens with personal vulnerabilities. This is due to the push for success and from external pressure through family and society which has placed unneeded stress on women specifically. By looking at their culture, there is a strong belief that bringing honor to their family name is done so through being successful, which is achieved by the amount of money that is made.
