Although it is good to know what they believe, I am now on a quest now to figure out how to reach them for Christ. What would my response be if I were to defend Christ to someone with each of these worldviews? One of the discussion questions at the end of Chapter Three asked, “Read again the opening story of the chapter. If you ever have a conversation like this one, describe what happened and how would you responded. Would you respond differently now? How?” This is the very exercise that I want to review and be sure I know the exact words to say and Bible verses to back up what I believe! Although the book goes into great detail on each worldview, I felt they needed to include a “cheat sheet” or summary of each different scenario for Christians to use when defending their …show more content…
Hebrews 10:39 "But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls." We don't shrink back because we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind! (2 Timothy 1:7). We have the ability, every second of every day, to walk in the power and authority that we have in Christ as those who belong to an eternal Kingdom, one that can NOT be shaken! Praise Jesus for not only giving us the opportunity for salvation, but for also giving the ability as His ambassadors to carry out His will on earth!
