Humanity has almost destroyed the world through global warming. People have stopped dreaming, and now, something much worse is happening. Indigenous people are being hunted down and harvested for their bone marrow. People believe that their bone marrow can give them their dreams back. We are following Frenchie and his group of people who are running and trying to survive this cruel world. This is the Marrow Thieves, where trauma is commonly experienced. The main thing happening in the story is that people are being taken and killed for their bone marrow. People saw their family, friends, and strangers, get taken away to die.
