In class, we talked about how in “Zero Hour” the little children were manipulated by these “Martians” into killing their parents. The question that steamed was: To what extend are people’s relationships and identities manipulated curiosity in Fahrenheit 451 and Zero Hour? The thought process behind this question started when we discussed how Montag’s relationship with his wife, Beatty and himself changed after his curiosity sparked after reading the bible. Another reason the question came about was went in “Zero Hour” the little girl’s relationship with her mother changed as she was taken over with the mindset of the Martians. This question pushes me towards reaching Level 2: Analysis on the characters and how they change throughout the book
