I just died today or was it yesterday, you do not really know or care. I thought you would at least have a little more empathy for your old mother, but apparently not. You present my death as a waste of my time, complaining about the bus ride you have to take to my funeral. You have always been an odd individual with strange philosophies on life, but I never thought you would stoop to this level. What kind of man did I raise?
I am enthralled how Tomas Perez came to my funeral. He was even more distraught than you. I am glad that I had such a lovely relationship with Perez; he showed me that I can be loved. However, in fact, I never really loved him. Hopefully you can offer him some sort of comfort during my vigil.

Oh my poor son Meursault, stop getting involved with Raymond. He is nothing but trouble. He is having you get entangled with the wrong guys.
