Hurst Rhetorical Analysis

Wonkette was the political blog I decided to study. Evan Hurst is the Senior Editor of Wonkette. In his blogs he like to flat out say what he thinks and how he feels about certain political events happening. Hurst links his blogs from the political information he finds with his view point and emotions. In most of his blogs, he only argues one side and doesn’t show the other side. Hurst comes off as if he is trying to use humor, sort of like “The Onion,” which is a news source. He doesn’t write politically correct, which might cause some readers to feel more connected to his blogs. A fallacy that Hurst uses in the bandwagon appeal. He tries to get people to see the political issue the way he sees it. Another fallacy that he uses is dogmatism.
