Hy-Vee Analysis

While working at Hy-Vee I’ve had many experiences that have impacted my view of life and shaped my future. A shift that sticks out in my mind is when an elderly lady came in right before the closing of the Italian counter asking for anchovies on her pizza. She came in around 8:30 p.m. on a very slow evening and ordered a pepperoni pizza with anchovies. This was a little frustrating at the late hour, as we had already started closing routine and were just about done changing out the ingredients for the evening. With a Hy-Vee smile, I made her the pizza and brought it out to her. She opened the pizza box, looked at me and started shaking her head, apparently, I forgot the anchovies. As a relatively new employee, I had no idea where to get anchovies,
