To define the Hybrid Threat adaptation process you have to understand what a hybrid threat is first. TC 7-100 defines it as the diverse and dynamic combination of regular forces, irregular forces, and criminal elements all unified to achieve mutually benefitting effects. These Hybrid threats that we can expect to encounter on the battlefield of the future are complex and ever evolving to the point that it would almost be impossible to give a set of defined parameters to.
