Assessment tool: ITERS-R
Infant/Toddler up to 30 months of age. Is one of a series of four scales that share the same format and scoring system but vary considerably in requirements, because each scale assesses a different age group and/or type of child development setting.

ITERS-R is an environmental rating scale that can be used to improve the quality of an early childhood program. In order to define and measure quality, the ITERS-R draws from three main sources: research evidence from a number of relevant fields (health, development, and education)

(NAP-SACC) Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment for Child Care

Programs schedule employer evaluations at the end of a probationary period and then annually after that. It is helpful to ask the employer member to complete the form first, thereby allowing the ratings to show areas of agreement or discrepancy. New providers my be have a copy of the evaluation so that to know what the work expectations and can measure their own progress.
