Iceman Reborn
The Iceman is a European mummy by the name of Otzi who was murdered more than 5,000 years ago that may well be, the most studied human being in history. Two hikers discovered his mummified body preserved in the ice while hiking on the Otzal Alps on the border between Austria and Italy. Because he was in the ice, everything he had on him was preserved too including his bow, tools, and even some of his clothes. Scientists took his body in for scientific analyses to try and find out where he came from, how he died, what he did to survive, who where his people, and many other things. To keep his body preserved, they keep his body in a freezer at a chilling 19 degrees Fahrenheit.
Otzi’s body was extremely examined, measured and x-rayed.
