There are many different types of cultures and traditions. In Nigeria, culture holds a big part in how people live, act and treat each other. I am half Nigerian and half American. Growing up I got to see the variations between the two countries cultures and traditions.
In Nigeria, one of the bigger community of people is the Igbo people. More than half of Nigerians are Igbo. Many Igbo people were once Jewish and then converted to Christianity when England Invaded West Africa. Many kept their traditional culture and others mixed their culture with English traditions and cultures. For example, marriage, Igbo weddings are not like American weddings.
