What we can see are different reflections on knowledge, and also on ignorance.

The myth of the cave deals with nonconformity in the face of ignorance. When the young man emerges from the cave and dazzles with the outside world, he ends up acquiring the knowledge he did not possess before. Acquiring knowledge with his immersion in the outside world, he does not content himself to leave his fellows in the dark and in this way returns to the cave to tell others about the things he has seen outside. But the myth of the cave also speaks of disbelief, envy and ignorance, because our young man was murdered when he returns from the outside to tell others what he saw outside.
