Altman writes about how undocumented immigrants are dying as they try to ignore checkpoints in Texas, right above the U.S.-Mexico border. Due to the extreme heat and treacherous terrain, bodies are constantly found in unique places, such as deserts. These migrants carry little with them. Many die from starvation. Actions are being taken to keep these migrants alive, and to their proper home.

Most illegal immigrants are married, making the immigration enforcement even harder since there is often children involved. The largest percentage of these illegal immigrants are under the age of 40.

19 Feb. 2016. Obama is stopping the deportation of illegal immigrants, which is something that not many states agree with. Obama is being called unconstitutional for not obeying the laws. It is obvious that the illegal immigrants in the country should not be ignored and be thought of as legal. Obama is taking steps to deal with the issue.
