I would have never been able to have guessed she had depression in the past until our sophomore year of high school. She was becoming more and more quiet, always missing school, receiving bad grades, and dressing in baggy comfy clothes. They always were there to stop each other from self-harming themselves and would stay with them when things got hard. Jasmine and Emily had a mutually understand making it easier for them to be around each other because they knew they didn’t need to put on a happy face if they were feeling bad. The only downside of this friendship was that Jasmine family thought it was causing her to act differently and causing more fights at home.
