Illuminati Conspiracy Theory Research Paper

In the past there have been lots of theories but one theory that caught my attention was the illuminati conspiracy theory. I listened on YouTube (the BuzzFeedBlue channel) and there were two speakers and were going over the conspiracy theory. The illuminati was form 1776, by Adam Weishaupt a German professor had formed the secret organization, which Weishaupt called it, the order of the illuminati. The goals of this organization were to seek self-knowledge, self-improvement, social reform, and rational thought. But many conservatives thought this was a threat to the church and they stopped the illuminati and this group was criminalized. (Buzzfeedblue.)

However some people believe that the still exist and they have evolved. And since then there have been many crazy theories of the illuminati.

“Confirmation bias” meaning “We all have a natural inclination to give more weight to evidence that supports what we already believe and ignore evidence that contradicts our beliefs”. The problem with this is that we are bias because we think our reasoning is right and accept that its right and we don’t even try to look at the other side, which is not objective. People who come with these theories will naturally believe in their theories because they are the ones that came up with. In the video they mention three conspiracist and they all have there different views on the illuminati and they show videos which represent their “evidence” but I think people who believe in these theories and especially the conspirtacist should research more and be open to different perspectives.
