Profile- choose print/ web/ video
Web purposes use RGB (web design, tablets, app design). CMYK for print.
Colour mode- choose base on design mode. RGB- colours of print will look different on screen
Default setting of downloaded photos- RGB.
Raster effects- for print choose 300ppi= pixels per inch, CMYK.
72ppi- used for web purposes. Otherwise the image will take very long to load.
150ppi- rarely used.
Lefts- tools. Right- panels.
Reset essentials- reset the whole interface. (at essentials (top right hand corner))

Select shape- black arrow . letter v
Specific size- select shape. CLICK ONCE AND RELEASE.
Dimensions: if it is in pixels, just key in __cm.
To change dimensions: View Rulers Show Rulers Right click on rulers shown and select the dimensions
Gradient fill- use Ellipse tool . have to open gradient panel. Windows Gradient.
Colour- drop down menu CMYK
Add gradient point—position mouse over bar and click.
