Case Study of Ima Overview
 Officer Ima Goodenough, is a 8-year employee of the police department and often serves

as a field training officer.
 An old school officer that has had 6 complaints of brutality lodged against her.
 She believes that administration exists only to “screw around with

us.”
 She has shown a deteriorating attitude and reckless performance for some time know.

Present and past supervisor consider her a walking time bomb.
 She leaves her jurisdiction and is seen handling a large foreign-made revolver at a crime

scene . She fails to answer her radio. Later the sheriff office complains about what she did.
 She is ordered to right a report. Her report describes her observation but denies touching

the revolver.
 Officer Goodenough personnel file shows her performance for the past 8 years as
STANDARD ”—average to above average .
