Well, you may ask how that is even possible. People are very predictable in their actions and thoughts, their interests they have today are most likely the ones they had yesterday. By staying on top of these trends marketers and advertising companies are able to put out ads that they know for sure will interest a certain demographic; using specific triggers to draw attention to the ad so it will be seen and not ignored. The company places the text in a very thought about planned out spot where they assume most people will look. The background of the ad is used to first pull attention to it and grab the eye. Once they have the attention it’s time to try to sell their product, because honestly most people wouldn’t be interested in trying to be sold on a product all the time unless its nots that bad to look at. Usually big bold letters are used with a fancy or interesting font and a higher than normal font size than other text on the ad. This is to assure that the reader without a doubt with read the text after looking at the background. The intent of adding all these attention grabbers into one aspect of the ad is to make sure you know the most important message of the whole ad; what the producer wants the consumer to know. Since the consumer is already looking at the ads pretty or interesting background before they know it they are reading a message designed to sell something.
