India Opal Buloni a 10 year old have just moved from her home town to Naomi, Florida, with her father the Preacher he preached at the local church . One day last summer her father had ask her to go to the store to get a box a mac&cheese, white rice , two tomatoes and she came back with a dog !!! She was walking down the produce section of the Winn-Dixie’s grocery store to get her to tomatoes and she bumped right into the store manager he was standing there all red face waving his arms around yelling who let a dog here! The Winn-Dixie employees is running around waving to there arms just like the store manager was waving he is and finally I seem the dog coming around the corner , he was a big dog and very ugly he looked like he was having fun his tail was…show more content… The lady said your dog must like peanut butter Opal greeted her and told her name and she told her Winn Dixie’s name. The lady said her name was Gloria Dump . Gloria and Opal became very good friends . Gloria wanted Opal to have an party and she could invite all her friends but Opal only wanted it to be Gloria , Winn Dixie & herself so as their having this party it began to ran very hard and Winn Dixie is scared of the thunder he came to act Soo crazy he was knocking everything over nobody could catch him he ran off , Opal was so sad she thought she would never find him she ran home to the preachers house and cried and yes they went out looking for Winn Dixie. They couldn't find him anywhere Opal cried so hard . The ran stoped and Opal went out looking again she even missed work she wouldn't stop until she found him. She was of sad walking Down the side way and there came Winn Dixie so happy to see Opal
