During the progressive era, there were many reforms addressing industrialization. Some reformers believed that industrialization was the root of many problems, that led to unsanitary and dangerous working conditions, so they worked to resolve them. Many of their reforms were successful in improving industrial conditions. They worked hard to reform the dangerous and disgusting conditions that many factory workers had to deal with between 1890 and 1920.
